Musings (Demo)" by Vicious The Boat

I know where I’m going to
That’s a little bit untrue
I just know I’m speeding through
I have never been this blue
My life, oh they say I’m young
But I feel older than most people that I see

I hugged him when he said goodbye
Without a teardrop in his eyes
I said some things but they were lies
And so did he I realized
My brother, he’s rich enough to run
But he’s too scared to know if he deserves a home
And when I think of them, I feel like I’ve been freed

Nothing seems to pass in time
You’re still the same but you don’t mind
There are times when you still cry
But I’m just happy you’re alive
Oh love, they say it’s hard to find
But when I see those eyes, everything is right
Oh everything looks fine, right under this light

A new song from our EP!

1. Set Sail
Vicious the Boat was a wooden boat meant for two.
It had a square sail, a small rudder, and a little cabin in which to sleep in. They had built it a few days afore, and it was time to depart.
“This is it,” he said to her.
“You’ve not left anything?”
“Only memories.”
“Oh, I’m taking those with me.”
He pushed the boat from shore as she stood upon deck, staring towards what was to be left behind. A tear strayed from the puddles that were her eyes. He saw and asked, “Is it for mirth or melancholy?”
“It is for both," she answered.
Her hand helped him up, and his wiped her cheek. She urged him to change his soaked clothes, but he watched land disappear before he did.
Vicious the Boat was a wooden boat meant for two, and with two aboard, it had set sail to where the winds blew.

Spit On A Stranger" by Vicious The Boat (Originally by Pavement)
Hello! Here’s our cover of our favorite Pavement song. We hope you like it! If not, well, please don’t hurt us…

However you feel, whatever it takes,
whenever it’s real, whatever awaits,
whatever you need, however so slight,
whenever it’s real, whenever it’s right.

I’ve been thinking long and hard about the things you said to me,
like a bitter stranger,
and now I see the long, the short, the middle and what’s in between,
I could spit on a stranger (pull me out)
you’re a bitter stranger (pull me out)

Whatever you feel, whatever it takes,
whenever it’s real, whatever awaits me,
whatever you need, however so slight,
Wherever it leads, whenever it’s right

Honey I’m a prize and you’re a catch
and we’re a perfect match, like two bitter strangers,
and now I see the long,  the short of it and I can make it last,

I see the sunshine in your eyes,
I’ll try the things you’ll never try,
I’ll be the one that leaves
you high…high…high

We’re posting a Pavement cover in a few days!

"Love Song" by Vicious The Boat

We’d like to thank Shinji Manlangit and Francis Cabal for helping us produce this song. Oh, and our EP’s coming out this February. :)

Tell me, love, will you stay?
I’ve got something to say
Months from now, years from now
For if I find you somehow

If I nag, if I blame
I hope I don’t scare you away
Know that I’m still the same
From when you first met me

I like too many sci-fi movies
My mind always flies around
But I hope you’ll find these faults amusing
Little quirks that make you smile

So, my love, if you’re there
Know that I’m just miles away
In my room, full of gloom
Writing you a song

We are happy to announce that we are releasing an EP in February! YAY~~~ *flying confetti, candy, and cake*
